Because like everything else in Canada, this region is no exception, it is very big, so we limited ourselves to Chicoutimi (yes this small town is really called so) at the Saguenay Fjord.
we were allowed to settle in with friends in Chicoutimi. the 6-hour ride across the province of Quebec, thanks to wonderful weather and an excellent Tea who was a cheerful enjoyment. Already in late afternoon we were in front of the cold beer at our friend's from Couchsurfing.
On Saturday we visit other friends who work in a park right on the sea and live in a tent there. Only one word for camping and why I refuse it: mosquitoes, tonnes of mosquitoes ....
But otherwise have a truly enviable workplace. We also benefited especially since we adopted the park fee and I could enjoy a kayak tour for free. Anyway, we just hung around a little and enjoyed the fact that we are not at home.
Sleep in on Sunday and we read and ate a lot, it seemed as if we had needed it desperately. The accommodation was ideal for this. We had our own room and a huge terrace decorated with flowers, table and chairs Tea was a good part of the day engaged in, run around in the huge house.
On Monday we headed back already. Direction Tadoussac where we even saw a whale for a short period.
Travelling with our daughter Tea (19 months) was good as ever. A ride of 650 km .... enjoy the photos!
